TallyBudget does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Your financial data never leaves your device.
TallyBudget is an offline budgeting app that lets you track spending, plan budgets, and see where your money goes entirely on your device. The pages that follow describe, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with the things you type into it.
None. TallyBudget has no account, no sign-in, and no server. It never asks for or collects any personal information, and it is never linked to a bank or any external financial service.
For the app to work, the following is kept in the operating system's local storage, on your phone, and nowhere else:
None of it is uploaded. Uninstalling the app removes every byte.
TallyBudget requests no runtime permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photos, and it has no connection to your bank or payment accounts. When you export or share a summary, the app hands the text to your device's standard share sheet and you choose where it goes.
TallyBudget works fully offline. It does not contact any server, load remote content, or send your financial data over the internet. Nothing you record ever leaves your device.
None. TallyBudget integrates no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs.
TallyBudget is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal information and transmits nothing off the device, it poses no data-privacy risk to children under 13 (COPPA) or 16 (GDPR-K).
All of your data lives only on your device, so you are in full control of it. You can edit or delete any transaction, budget, or profile detail in the app at any time. Uninstalling TallyBudget permanently removes all of its data from your device.
If anything in this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will be revised, and material changes will appear in the app's release notes.
